A. General Information

The Chloraka Community Council is accepting proposals from both Cyprus and abroad for events to be held in 2024.

This call for interest pertains to scheduled events listed on page 9 of the “Proposal Submission Form for Inclusion in the 2024 Summer Cultural Program of the Chloraka Community Council.”

Eligible to participate are both individuals and legal entities legally operating in Cyprus or abroad.

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Proposals for Inclusion in the 2024 Events Program of the Chloraka Community Council.”

All proposals should be submitted using the official form available on the website: www.chloraka.org.cy.

Proposals may be submitted either directly to the Chloraka Community Council’s tender box at 11 Eleftherias Avenue, 8220, Chloraka, Cyprus, or sent by registered mail, ensuring their receipt before the deadline.

Late submissions, either to the tender box or by post, will not be considered.

Selected applicants will be required to sign a formal agreement with the Community Council.

Deadline for submissions: 1:30 PM, Friday, June 21, 2024.

Proposals will be opened immediately after the deadline. Late submissions or proposals missing the required form will not be evaluated.

B. Instructions for Applicants

Applicants may submit up to 10 proposals, covering any type of event, provided they align with the budget and program.

Each event must be submitted separately using the official proposal forms, and proposals must include complete details as requested.

Proposals should cover high-quality, professional artistic events. The event venue will be selected based on the type of event, and applicants will be notified of the decision.

Proposals must include:

  1. Event title and detailed description.
  2. Names of all participating artists and key contributors.
  3. Event duration.

Deviations from approved proposals will only be accepted with serious justification (illness, accident, etc.).

Applicants must provide proof of legal representation or agreements with the proposed artists or groups.

If the event has been performed abroad, a video recording (CD/DVD) and reviews must be included. Links to websites are not accepted.

Producers are responsible for ensuring the payment of all related expenses, including artist fees, travel, accommodation, technical support, and any taxes (income tax, VAT, etc.).

Additional notes:

  • The producer is responsible for all technical arrangements.
  • The Community Council will cover publicity and venue rental costs.
  • All required permits are the responsibility of the applicant.
  • Non-Cypriot participants are subject to a 10% tax on their total fees.

Proposals with a budget exceeding €5,000 will require a bank guarantee for 10% of the agreed amount.
